Sabre value in grey market is like $180 bucks or so making it fairly inexpensive if you resell the code.

If they had a nvme m.2 version I'd be interested, otherwise Samsung is going to have a new drive just as good fairly soon.

Agreed would of been nice to have them on the M.2
But u.2 will allow you to raid them. So the u.2 will be gobbled up by cloud corps and data farms pretty quick

When Intel was developing the 3dxpoint supposedly When fully developed will get to the point that it is almost as fast as ram is and this will bypass the need for ram.
Till them days just glad we have something better then Spin drives and Velociraptor's are extinct once again.

Good ol Velociraptors! I still had a couple raid arrays of those running in some old IBM 1U rackmount servers for remote VMWare ESXi hosts. Was surprised they hadn't died, ended up giving them away to my IT staff to use at home.
